gold answers blue in a three-part procession of shells, beads, mirrors and water. oxum appears in two movements: a contemporary silhouette adorned with cowries and golden fabrics, then in ceremonial splendor, surrounded by lace and sacred ornamentation. between these portraits, iemanjá holds the center, emerging from an ocean of blue ribbons and pearls. the samba is not illustrated literally. it lives in the rhythm of lines, repeated beads and moving fabrics. three compositions, two distinct waters, one ancestral conversation. dedicated to those who keep ancestral languages in motion.
