the serpent wears the crown
9:16 ✶ 🜲 queensi. the awakening
piece · 1 / 3
before the curse became a crown, there was a woman who refused to disappear.
installation
dedicated to every woman who was called dangerous for refusing to be powerless. may they never mistake your crown for a curse again. a woman becomes a myth, a myth becomes a threat, and a threat becomes a queen. across three acts, medusa reclaims the gaze that condemned her, transforming a crown of golden serpents into a symbol of black femininity, defiance, and absolute sovereignty. the monster was always someone else's version of the story.
